Community Centres
Where possible, we provide resources for communities to meet and hold activities in our community centres. Where there is no Denbighshire Housing owned community facility, we will try to assist in providing alternative resources.
To help run our community facilities smoothly, with accountability and openness, we have produced our Community Centre Handbook. This handbook has been developed as a reference guide for both resident associations and external hirers. If you would like a copy, please contact us.
We have two different types of community centres:
Stand-alone centres are not linked to a particular housing complex, these are:
- Pengwern, Llangollen
- Phoenix, Rhyl
Scheme based centres are those linked to a housing complex, and include:
- Llys Y Felin, St Asaph
- Cysgodfa, Denbigh
- Trem Y Foel, Ruthin
- Llygadog, Corwen
Here is a list of just some of the activities that take place in our community centres:
- Homework clubs
- Arts & crafts
- Coffee mornings
- Lunch clubs
- Social activities
- Job clubs
- Community events

Another great place to look for information about what is on in your community, groups and services, visit Dewis. They have loads of information that can help you think about what matters to you, along with information about local organisations and activities.
